Startup - TecherIf you are going Tech -> Steelie -> Main Strategy, use this profile: Property Weight Percentage Min-Max Military Strength 3 70% (70-130%) Army Maintanance Costs 3 80% (80-120%) Private Market 3 80% (80-120%) Construction Speed 3 120% (75-120%) Discovery Effectiveness 3 115% (80-115%) Factory Production 2 75% (75-125%) Steel Production 2 125% (75-125%) Population Capacity 2 91% (80-115%) Solar Enhancements 2 80% (80-115%) Tax Income 2 91% (80-115%) Research Speed 2 120% (85-120%) Bakery Production 2 75% (75-125%) Missile Accuracy 1 80% (80-150%) SEALS Strength 1 71% (70-140%) If you are going Tech -> Main Strategy, use this profile: Property Weight Percentage Min-Max Military Strength 3 70% (70-130%) Army Maintanance Costs 3 80% (80-120%) Private Market 3 80% (80-120%) Construction Speed 3 120% (75-120%) Discovery Effectiveness 3 115% (80-115%) Factory Production 2 75% (75-125%) Steel Production 2 75% (75-125%) Population Capacity 2 115% (80-115%) Solar Enhancements 2 80% (80-115%) Tax Income 2 115% (80-115%) Research Speed 2 120% (85-120%) Bakery Production 2 75% (75-125%) Missile Accuracy 1 80% (80-150%) SEALS Strength 1 75% (70-140%)
Profiles can be adjusted for GS by raising Army Maintenance Cost and dropping SEAL Strength. The first 10 turns, standard tech startup: Turn 1 - Build 30 SF (30 SF total) Buy 9 Territories (109 total), set tax to 34% Turn 2 - Build 30 SF (60 SF total) Buy 10 Territories (119 total), set tax to 39% Turn 3 - Build 30 SF (90 SF total) Buy 1 Territory (120 total), set tax to 40% Turn 4 - Build 30 SF (120 SF total) Turn 5-6 - Discover 2 turns CS, 88 per turn Buy 40 Territories (160 total), set tax to 47% Turn 7 - Build 40 SF (160 SF total) Turn 8-10 - Discover 3 turns of Construction Speed or Space Mirror Sell max amount of CS (or Space Mirror if you made that instead). If you get in early, your CS should be ~ 14-17k, and SM around 17-23k. If you didn''t start very early, adjust prices accordingly. From here, you will play ~ 8-12 turns per login. Your basic turn outline is: 1-2 turns of Construction Speed, followed by 3-4 turns of building, followed by 4-6 turns of teching what you will sell. I recommend Mining, followed by Space Mirror, and then PMD if it is selling well. Keep the Construction Speed you are producing. Building per turn should be ~ 50-70 during the first 1k territories, and 80-120 after that (Once it gets around 80, tech a few turns to get it back above 100). The first 100 turns will be used for gaining territories...your goal is to get to ~ 2.5-3k territories by turn 100. At that point, begin gaining military units from pvt to get it replenishing. The final 50 turns can be spent teching mining (if it''s selling really well), PMD (if it''s selling well, this is preferred) or a mix of the two. The more PMD you tech, the better prepared you are for OON. After you begin gaining units from pvt market, you must keep cash on hand at all times or else your military will leave. So you cannot use the no cash trick to save on maintenance after that. You can store up to 3x what you own for each unit on the pvt market, so once you get a military base, just keep it growing and keep ~ 2-2.5x the units on the pvt market. I refer to this as "grooming" or "pruning" your pvt market. You want to carry these units with you out of neutral, so that once you get cash and your Pvt Market Discount discoveries at max, you can buy them out and make a nice NW jump. If you don''t grow your pvt market during neutral, you''re losing valuable NW and you''ll have to use more turns out of neutral to keep up. Pvt Market is more valuable than land, provided you have a decent amount (Need 3k territories by turn 150). Stop gaining land after turn 130, and strictly tech. For getting SS maxed, it is recommended that you get to 5k land out of neutral and switch to steelie, if your profiles will permit it. Otherwise you will switch to your intended strategy first, then max SS by buying steel and BCs from public market.
