PGMS Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates the TEQ3 game and websites at playteq.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create a TEQ3 account, we collect your username, email address, and a password (stored hashed). You may optionally provide a display name.

Gameplay information. As part of normal play, we record the actions you take in the game — country names, attacks, market trades, forum posts, chat messages, alliance memberships, and similar in-game events — so that the game can function and so that we can investigate rule violations.

Technical information. When you visit the Service, our servers automatically receive your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. We use this information to keep the Service running, to detect abuse, and to understand usage.

We use the information we collect to operate the Service, authenticate accounts, deliver gameplay, enforce the game rules, communicate with you about your account, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with applicable law, and improve TEQ3 over time.

  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where the receiving party will be bound by this policy.

Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes, investigate abuse, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in the section. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and certain other jurisdictions have additional rights under local data protection law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS), password hashing, and access controls on production systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

TEQ3 is operated from Canada and hosted on Microsoft Azure. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where Azure operates infrastructure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the Service or by emailing the address associated with your account.
