Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TEQ3 and the playteq.com websites (the "Service"), operated by PGMS Inc. ("PGMS", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. You may only maintain one game account in total. You may not share, sell, transfer, or trade your account, and you may not access other players’ accounts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the .

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use offensive, harassing, or hateful language toward other players;
  • create or use multiple accounts to gain an in-game advantage;
  • use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or third-party clients to play;
  • exploit bugs or undocumented mechanics to gain an advantage;
  • attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access;
  • impersonate PGMS staff, game coordinators, or other players;
  • engage in any conduct that disrupts the Service or harms other users.

Specific in-game behaviors prohibited by the Game Rules include suiciding, cross-server attacking, and similar conduct. Sanctions range from official warnings to permanent account bans, depending on severity.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post on forums, chat, country descriptions, and similar areas. By posting, you grant PGMS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of what you post. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Fees and subscriptions

The Service is free to play. If we offer paid subscriptions, in-game purchases, or other paid features, the applicable price and terms will be displayed before you pay. Unless stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual property

TEQ3, its game engine, artwork, source code, logos, and trademarks are the property of PGMS Inc. or its licensors. Some images are used with permission from www.3drt.com. The original game was created by Schoot Digital Productions (1999–2025) and is operated under license to PGMS Inc. since 2025. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, PGMS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PGMS Inc., its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to PGMS in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting . We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the Game Rules, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Quebec, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under local consumer law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
